Time in the gardens, time on rain barrels and time with work have kept us from a real web site or due blog diligence. We'll get there, but in the meantime, please enjoy some photos from some of our various urban growing projects. To date we've created urban growing spaces in our small downtown yard and in lots nearby in our neighborhood, Cottage Home. In partnership with Slow Food Indy and Indianapolis Downtown Inc. we've created a Tasting Garden for R-Bistro Restaurant and Goose the Market. In partnership with the Indiana Humanities Council, we created a "victory garden," and at Invoke Yoga Studio where Laura teaches we planted two raised beds with veggies for studio patrons to enjoy this summer. We have some exciting Slow Food Indy garden plans in the works, which we look forward to sharing in due time. You can find more up to date information about great local food and sustainable living related events happening in Indianapolis at www.indywinterfarmersmarket.org. Thanks for your interest! I live in Indy and just this year started plans for a Micro Farm that I hope will be starting next spring. I would love to ride the bike by your house and take a gander at how your gardens are set. I love it when I find others that share my interests.
